Call for Board Nominations

Heritage Vancouver Society will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 7, 2011 at the Roedde House Museum, 1415 Barclay St, from 6:15pm until 6:45pm. The AGM will be followed by Heritage Vancouver's Christmas Party.

Members are invited to submit names of candidates for positions on the Board of the Heritage Vancouver Society for the term of 2011-2012, to be announced at the AGM.

The Board is seeking to fill the following positions:

1. Membership Secretary
2. Fundraising Development Chair

The Board is looking for individuals who are:

1. Creative, enthusiastic and team-oriented;
2. Committed to the vision and goals of Heritage Vancouver to ‘Create a Future for Vancouver’s Heritage’; and
3. Dedicated to Heritage Vancouver’s commitment to fostering positive working relationships with local neighborhoods and the architectural, business, arts, historic, cultural, conservation and development communities.

Please submit your nominations to info@heritagevancouver.org by Friday, November 4, 2011. Please note that there will be no nominations from the floor at the AGM; all positions will be confirmed prior to December 7th.
