Roedde House Museum
1415 Barclay St., Vancouver
Roedde House Museum is a wonderfully restored and redecorated Victorian home in Vancouver’s West End. Built in 1893 for a German immigrant family, the house is set in beautiful Barclay Heritage Square.

Hastings Mill Museum
1575 Alma Street, Vancouver
The Hastings Mill Store is thought to be the oldest building in Vancouver. It is one of the very few to remain unscathed after the great fire of 1886, that destroyed a good part of Vancouver at the time. In 1930 the store was moved from Burrard Inlet to its present site where Alma Street meets Point Grey Road. The Museum is open to the public and staffed by members of the Native Daughter of British Columbia. This site of city history houses a collection of pioneer and native artifacts, including photos, furniture, clothing and baskets. Admission is free but donations are welcome. 604 734-1212

Burnaby Village Museum

Experience life as it might have been in Burnaby. Self-guided tours let you explore the farmhouse and village at your own pace! Period-costumed interpreters welcome guests into the various homes, businesses and shops of a traditional village along the BC Electric Railway tram line. An exciting must for every visitor is a whirl on the fully restored historic 1912 CW Parker Carousel. Rides are accompanied by music from a grand 1925 Wurlitzer organ. Amenities include an ice cream parlour which offers a menu for light meals and snacks, picnic tables, and a gift shop. The site is wheelchair accessible. 24-hour Information: (604) 293-6501

The 1865 Irving House Museum
302 Royal Ave., New Westminster
Tour this restored 1865 home, as one of the oldest community heritage sites in the province, Irving House Historic Centre provides visitors with an opportunity to explore the history of the province's first capital and theh commerical hub of the Lower Mainland.
Sat.-Sun. 12:30-4:30 p.m. By donation. The adjacent museum opens the same hours.
